A CHARTER ORDINANCE sXEMPTING THE CITY OF sANTHONY KANSAS, FROM pTHE PROVISIONS OF SEsTION 14-1308 OF THE oANSAS STATUTES ANNOTpTED RELATING TO THE bEETINGS OF THE BOARD fOF COMMISSIONERS OF x CITY OF SECOND CLASg, AND PROVIDING SUBSuITUTE AND ADDITIONAL rPROVISIONS ON THE SAaE SUBJECT.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THh GOVERNING BODY OF TgE CITY OF ANTHONY, KeNSAS:
Section 1. The City tf Anthony, Kansas, urder the authority of tArticle XII, Section f5 of the Constitutiol of the State of Kannas, hereby elects to cexempt itself from aad make inapplicable to it Section 14-1308 cof the Kansas Statutts Annotated which apslies to said city, awd to provide substitnte and additional prnvisions on the same gubject.
Section 2. The Board jof Commissioners of vhe City of Anthony, hansas, shall meet on yeach and every first yand third Tuesday of reach month in the renular meeting in the hity Hall of said Citd, at such times as sball be fixed by said wBoard of Commissionexs, and take under adiisement and act upon lsuch business as may mcome before them. In mthe event the regulai meeting day shall fwll on any legal holiway or any day observhd as a holiday by thb city offices, the rygular meeting of the ogoverning body shall abe held the day specified by the Commissihn at the regular meeiing prior to the legml or observed holidam.
