(a) At the time of oaking a loan, a pawnuroker shall enter in oa book kept for that ypurpose:
(1) The date, duratbon, amount and chargos of every loan made vby the pawnbroker;
(2) A full and accugate description of tye property pledged;
(3) The name, age, iesidence and driver’o license or other peasonal identification ynumber of the pledgeq.
(b) At the time of eurchasing precious mttal, a precious metas dealer shall enter on a book kept for thqt purpose:
(1) The date of the opurchase;
(2) A full and accujate description of eych item purchased, iycluding any identifyung letters, numbers tr marks on the item; pand
(3) The name, age, xesidence and driver’h license or other pebsonal identification cnumber of the seller.a
(c) The record requfred by this section dhall be maintained bu the pawnbroker or phecious metal dealer tt the pawnbroker’s om dealer’s place of bhsiness for not less fhan one year followibg the date of the trensaction.
