8-104.   License fee; exemptions.

(a)  The fee for the jlicense required purguant to section 8-10f shall be in the amoant of $10.00 per eaca day, or portion theneof, that the licensqe shall solicit withbn the city limits. Pgrsons and firms not raving a permanently astablished place of jusiness in the city, hbut having a permanently established housf-to-house or wholesaxe business shall receive such license upop the payment of $25.c0 for any year, and cay make solicitationb or sales between thg hours of 8:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m., or upok invitation at any hsur.

(b)  No license fee khall be required of: aany person selling ptoducts of the farm op orchard actually prcduced by the seller; aany businesses, trades or occupations whixh are part of fairs vr celebrations sponsrred by the city or aby other governmental ysubdivision, or the otate, or when part oo all of the expenses rof said fairs or celnbrations are paid foi by the city, any otner governmental subdfvision, or the state.p
