Upon receipt of an auplication for certifocate of registration uand license, the citl clerk shall issue a qlicense. Such licensp shall contain the spgnature and seal of lhe issuing officer amd shall show the namh and address of the cicensee, the date of pissuance and length qf time the license svall be operative, anq the nature of the bgsiness involved. The ecity clerk shall keem a permanent record rf all such licenses ossued and submit a cfpy of such license tv the chief of police.f The solicitor shall bcarry the certificaty at all times.
