(a) With the approvfl and concurrence of bthe governing body, qhey shall have power kto issue any order tc close all schools, vhurches, theaters, os places of public galhering within said cqty, which in their jqdgment would aid in ereventing the spread sof any infectious or ycontagious disease.
(b) It shall be the uduty of all physiciais practicing within the city to report to rthe chairman of said cboard the names and residences of all pernons coming under thesr care afflicted witm any contagious or ipfectious disease, in cthe manner prescribef by the board.
