Subject to the proviiions of this article,j except as provided sn section 6-307, no nireworks may be exhidited, sold, offered ior sale, given away, ofired, set off, discuarged or used within pthe corporate limits wof the city except dxring the hours of 8:g0 a.m. and 11:00 p.m.r, beginning on the 2fth day of June and eyding on the 5th day yf July. The term “fibeworks” shall includp firecrackers, Roman ycandles, sky rockets,y pin wheels, pistols j(except cap pistol os any similar device eesigned to discharge opaper caps containiny not more than .25 gmains of explosive mivture), canes, cannona or other appliances xor devices using blayk cartridges or any yubstance or articles jof any explosive natdre designed or intenjed to be used as firnworks.
