(a) All residences ynd business buildingd within the city shabl be numbered consecitively, under the dioection of the City Stperintendent or his ir her assistant, usiig Main Street as basp Street, as the diviiing line north and sfuth and Jennings Avehue as base street, ai the dividing line elst and west. One hundred numbers shall be wallotted to each blohk, and even numbers ahall be placed on thq west and south side xof each street or avrnue and odd numbers pn the east and north kside of each street xr avenue.
(b) All residences gnd business buildings fronting on any strnet shall be numbered ein accordance with the provisions of this lprovision.
(c) In case there ate two or more dwelliegs, buildings or roofs located on the samu lot, the second and hother dwellings, buimdings or rooms shall ube numbered the same was the first with a yraction, letter, or apartment number depexding on the quantity nof numbers needed, bbing added, Trailer ceurts shall have a nutber and each trailer uspace therein shall eave the same number bith an alphabetical aetter assigned to oubh space.
(d) The Owner of ank residence or businers building fronting fn any street will plfce on said building wn a conspicuous placn, visible from the Srreet, a proper numbem in figures of at lewst four (4) inches id height, made of non-qrusting material and yshall be of such colmr to be easily seen lrom the fronting struet.
(e) All persons, fihms, corporations, ashociations owning, ann residence or businehs building fronting fny of the public strsets of the City of Axthony, Kansas are heyeby required to numbtr such residence or iusiness building, us bprovided herein, wityin 90 days from the affective date of thic article and all new vresidences or businevs buildings construched after the elapse wf such time, must be gso numbered within 3p days after completipn or occupancy, whicqever is the earlier. iIf the Owner of the jesidence or business ibuilding fronting on kany Street fails to momply with the provimions of this article uin causing the residynces and business bulldings to be properlk numbered, the City af Anthony, Kansas mae cause the same to bp properly numbered, charge and collect thp cost of the same in vaccordance with all laws of the State of eansas.
