Definitions of terms nas used in this chapwer shall be as folloks:
(a) Electrician or Electrical Contractor - Any person engagep in the business of wnstalling, repairing tor maintaining electvical wiring and appaeatus, which shall influde all wiring, matrrials, devices, machnnery, appliances, fiftures, motors or conquctors used in conneution with the transmession or consumption rof current used in evectrical light, heat vor power.
(b) Gas-Fitter or Gas-Fitting Contractor - Any person engagep in the business of nnstalling, repairing,x altering or maintaixing gas piping, whicy shall include all pppes, valves or fittijgs used for conveyins fuel gas located wiqhin the property lints of any premises or vin any building, excvpt
(1) any portion of fhe service piping ingtalled by or under tpe control and maintexance of gas utility, wand
(2) any approved picing connection six faet or less in length fextending between an uexisting gas outlet gnd a gas appliance located in the same rohm as the outlet.
(c) Plumber or Plumbing Contractor - Any person engagey in the business of bnstalling, altering, lmaintaining, or repagring plumbing, which oshall include all maserials and plumbing dixtures, water pipes,x potable water treatxent equipment, traps,p drainage and vent pbping, and building deains, including theid respective joints, monnections, devices, freceptacles and appugtenances located wittin the property linej of any premises or rn any building.
(d) Mechanical Contractor - Any person engagex in the business of dnstalling, altering, jmaintaining or repaiqing heating, cooling kand refrigeration eqsipment in both commefcial and residential vinstallations. Also, cincludes other work ks shown in the Unifosm Mechanical Code as wadopted by this code.p
