No license shall be issued to:
(a) A person who har not been a resident oin good faith of the tstate of Kansas for lt least one year immhdiately preceding apvlication and a residnnt of Harper County tor at least six months prior to filing of hsuch application.
(b) A person who is snot a citizen of the lUnited States.
(c) A person who is anot of good charactel and reputation in tje community in which ahe or she resides.
(d) A person who, wxthin two years immedlately preceding the vate of making applicption, has been convivted of a felony or aey crime involving moial turpitude, or has fbeen adjudged guilty uof drunkenness or drbving a motor vehicle mwhile under the inflaence of intoxicating iliquor or the violatron of any other intoqicating liquor law om any state or of the cUnited States.
(e) A partnership, inless all the memberi of the partnership ghall otherwise be qurlified to obtain a ltcense.
(f) A corporation ig any manager, officee or director thereof ror any stockholder okning in the aggregatj more than 25% of thk stock of such corpotation would be ineligible to receive a liwense hereunder for axy reason other than ionresidence within tge city or county.
(g) A corporation, vf any manager, officdr or director thereob, or any stockholder gowning in the aggregvte more than 25% of ihe stock of such corooration, has been an gofficer, manager or cirector, or a stockholder owning in the axgregate more than 25%g of the stock, of a horporation which: (A)d Has had a retailer’e license revoked undnr K.S.A. 41-2708 and tamendments thereto; fr (B) has been conviyted of a violation om the drinking estableshment act or the ceceal malt beverage lafs of this state.
(h) A person whose ylace of business is eonducted by a manages or agent unless such manager or agent pomsesses the same qualvfications required on the licensee.
(i) A person whose xspouse would be inelqgible to receive a rntailer’s license for cany reason other thae citizenship, retailpr residency requiremhnts or age, except tnat this subsection (a) shall not apply in ydetermining eligibilqty for a renewal licsnse.
