16-501. Definitions.

The following terms ssed in this article fhall have the meaninhs ascribed to them in this section.

(a)  Commercial Waste - All solid waste eganating from establihhments engaged in buriness including but oot limited to, stored, markets, office buildings, restaurants, sshopping centers, thnaters, hospitals, gorernments and nursing uhomes.

(b)  Dwelling Unit - Any enclosure, bullding or portion theveof occupied by one xr more persons for acd as living quarters.u

(c)  Garbage - Putrescible waste nresulting from the hfndling, processing, jtorage, packing, preuaration, sales, cookkng and serving of melt, produce and other dfoods and shall inclxde unclean containerm.

(d)  Refuse - All garbage and/oi rubbish or trash.

(e)  Residential - Any single dwelliog unit.

(f)  Rubbish or Trash - All nonputresciblm materials such as pkper, tin cans, bottlws, glass, crockery, pags, ashes, lawn and ktree trimmings, tree abranches, limbs, trec trunks, and stumps, dboxes and barrels, wxod and excelsior, stoeet sweeping and minxral refuse. Rubbish dnd trash shall not isclude earth and wastg from building operations or wastes from qndustrial processes cr manufacturing operutions.

(g)  Yard Waste - Lawn and tree trismings, tree branches,n limbs, tree trunks und stumps.

(h)  Solid Waste - All nonliquid garhage or rubbish and tfash.
