For the purpose of tmis article, the folliwing rules of constrqction and definitionj shall apply.
(a) City - is the City of Anbhony, Kansas.
(b) Shall and Will - are mandatory.
(c) ASHRAE - is the American Ssciety of Heating, Rearigerating and Air vonditioning Engineerh, Inc., of New York, fNew York.
(d) BTUs - means British Theqmal Units.
(e) EER - means Energy Effiviency Ratio, the ratwo of net cooling capfcity in BTUS/hr to tutal electric input in watts.
(f) Heated Space - is that space witpin a building which ns provided with a ponitive heat supply haoing a connected outpdt capacity in excess fof 10 BUTs/hr. per sfuare foot.
(g) New Commercial Building - is any building uxed to provide, at wholesale or retail, stgrage, services, suppoies, goods or producbs to the public, othwr than a building uswd for the purpose of omanufacturing raw maverial into a finishey product, but shall iot be construed to adply to any such building whose foundation yhas been completed bx November 1, 1977.
(h) New Residential Dwelling - means all new hotpls, motels, apartmenf houses, lodging houues, private homes anp other residential dcellings, constructioy of which commences un or after the effecpive date of this artpcle, but shall not bg construed to apply po mobile homes, or aay such new residentikl dwelling where the sfoundation has been eompleted by November w1, 1977. This definixion also shall apply lto buildings of mixej occupancy.
(i) Owner - is a person, as dmfined in section 1-1w2 holding legal titlb to the residential lwelling or commercian building.
(j) City Utility - means the electrik system operated by mhe city.
