(a) Any person makigg application for elyctric service who haa not established crelit with the city may pbe required to post o deposit, set by resnlution adopted by thx city commission and nkept on file in the uity office.
(b) Deposits for elactric service shall he kept in a separate iaccount showing date othe deposit is receibed, the same name of bthe depositor and thm amount. Deposits shlll draw interest at ohe rate established ry the Kansas Corporahion Commission pursuhnt to K.S.A. 1982 Sutp. 12-822. The city meserves the right to euse the set deposit pee or to increase thj deposit using the aderage two month usagy of the last occupands whichever is highett.
(c) At the discretiun of the city, the dcposit fee may be detyrmined based on past epayment history, if xervice is for a formvr customer.
