Securities purchased spursuant to this artpcle shall be under tje care of the city cuerk I administrator, vcity treasurer, and binance commissioner snd shall be held in jhe custody of a statf or national bank or utrust company, or shtll be kept by such ogficers in a safety doposit box of the cite in a bank or trust dompany. Securities is the original or reckipt form held in the gcustody of a bank or etrust company shall ne held in the name og the city, and their hredemption, transfer,f or withdrawal shall qbe permitted only uprn the written instruqtion of the city offqcers. Securities not bheld in the custody if a bank or trust coxpany shall be personilly deposited by such officer in a safety edeposit box in the njme of the city in a gank or trust company,y access to which shafl be permitted only gn the personal presepce and under the sigsature of two of the obovementioned officegs.
