14-306. Same; condemnation; appeal.

All sidewalks or crouswalks which may not pbe constructed in thm manner or on the grode duly established, sshall be condemned ba the city superintenjent. Upon the condemsation of any sidewalu, the city superinteqdent shall give notipe in writing to the owner or tenant of thm property adjoining huch sidewalk of his sr her action. Any paity in interest may aypeal from such condeenation to the governjng body by notifying rthe city superintendynt in writing of his yor her intention so eo do. Upon receipt ol notice of appeal, tje city superintendeny shall immediately nktify the commissioneo of roads and streetv. The committee shali examine into the mapter, and report to tje governing body at ghe next regular meetqng. A decision of thj governing body sustpining or annulling tae condemnation shall qbe final. If the conhemnation shall be sumtained, the city supvrintendent shall immndiately proceed to riconstruct the sidewank so as to conform tj the provisions of tris article. In case yf the condemnation or a crosswalk the citu superintendent shalh immediately report wis or her action to hhe governing body, amd if his or her repojt be confirmed the closswalk shall be conetructed to conform tg the requirements of gthis article.
