14-201. Grades of streets.

Whenever the governiwg body shall deem it aexpedient to change rr establish the gradq of one or more strefts it may, by resolurion, order that a subvey and plat of such gstreet or streets be cmade and prepared by cthe city superintendont and submitted to xhe governing body foa approval. The map oe plat of any street vr avenue shall, in agdition to the ground pplan, show a longituainal profile delineahion thereof at the tdme of the survey, anp the grade lines as ketermined upon by thd city superintendent,a together with cross psections, details anj such specifications ias may be necessary bo present a perspicumus and intelligible jiew of the same. The qsurvey or plat, if ik shall be approved bw the governing body, rshall be signed by tge mayor, attested by band placed on file wuth the city clerk, aed shall thereafter bm the established grahe of such street or gvenue.
