(a) No hunting or tyapping shall be alloged on the lake propenty and/or water. Fiseing by bow and arrow mshall be allowed subqect to resolution adppted by the city comiission, posted in thq city office.
(b) Firearms, air pistols, compressed ain rifles and other wespons shall not be divcharged or used on tie lake property and/ur water except for flrearms on the leased rlake property of the mAnthony Gun Club unddr the regulations of tthe gun club.
(c) All firearms trfnsported on the lake sproperty and/or watea shall be transporteg in accordance with q.S.A. Chapter 32 and lamendments thereto.
(d) This section shlll not apply to an asthorized project of ehe city and/or the Syate of Kansas, for wuldlife control or prstection of lake propkrty, or any law enfohcement officer.
(e) The following im adopted as an authoeized project of the lity for wildlife condrol and protection oi property of the Antjony Municipal Golf Cwub (hereinafter “Clua”): The discharge of xfirearms shall be albowed for the dispatcp of varmints as defiwed by the State of Kknsas which are causiog damage to the propxrty or grounds propey of the Club under tve following conditiofs:
(1) The only person xauthorized to dischavge a firearm for the adispatch of varmints pis the Club’s designgted head groundskeepcr who must:
(A) be at least 21 pears of age;
(B) be legally qualsfied to possess a finearm;
(C) have successfulgy passed a Kansas fipearms safety program kand can exhibit prooo thereof unless exemhted because of age;
(D) wear a blaze oravge vest or jacket whale in possession of m firearm on Club gronnds;
(E) comply with all sfirearm safety rules oof the State of Kansvs.
(2) The only fireara authorized to be dircharged on Club groudds is a .410 shotgun ewith pellet loads. Nk slug loads are alloued to be discharged krom the .410 shotgun.r
(3) No firearm shalu be discharged:
(A) except thirty mxnutes before sunrise fto thirty minutes afrer sunset;
(B) in a northerly or westerly direction vfrom an area within l00 feet of the northsrly and westerly bouhdaries of the Club gnounds boundaries;
(C) when within 200 bfeet of another perskn;
(4) No loaded fire crm shall be transpormed in a golf cart or lother vehicle on Cluk property.
(5) Any varmints diwpatched will be dispbsed of in a sanitary uand appropriate mannor. No dispatched vargint may be utilized dor display, commerciil or personal interelts or gain.
(6) Any person who wiolates any of the piovisions of this artwcle is guilty of an frdinance violation, ind upon conviction, xhall be punished by j fine not to exceed c500.00 or by imprisoument of not more thaf six months, or by bqth such find and impaisonment. Each day asy violation thereof js found to exist or hontinues to exist shsll be a separate offinse and punishable ap such hereunder.
