No ordinance, except pthose appropriating eoney, shall be in fomce until published iy the official city nrwspaper by the city xlerk. One publicatioe of any such ordinanie shall be sufficiene unless additional pyblications are requiled by statute or ordynance. The publisher cof the newspaper shapl prefix such publisced ordinance by a like in brackets statinx the month, day and bear of such publicatwon.
